Clarinet students must be at least 11 years of age. Sharon's Music Studio uses the Rubank method books for clarinet instruction. Other method and etude books may be used. The student will learn proper maintenance and handling of the clarinet, reed care and honing, proper clarinet playing techniques, and all the elements of reading music. Solos and duets will be incorporated. I help students prepare for competitions and auditions.

The average piano needs to be tuned at least once a year or twice if it is played regularly. Changes in temperature and humidity and moving a piano will also result in a piano going out of tune. I offer piano tuning services for pianos in homes, studios, churches, schools, businesses and performance halls. If a piano has not been tuned regularly and is very flat, it may require a pitch raise. The cost of a tuning will depend on how much work needs to be done on the piano.
